Helmut Eirund

Hemut received his diploma degree in computer science from the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel in 1985. After 6 years of applied research and development in the IT industry and at the University of Oldenburg, he received his doctoral degree. In 1994, he became a professor for multimedia development at the University of Applied Sciences Harz and since 2001 at Bremen. In 2005 Helmut was a guest professor at California state university in Arcata and since 2010 a researcher in residence at the NYU. His focus is on mobile systems, electronic entertainment and interaction design.

Thorsten Teschke

Thorsten received his diploma degree in computer science from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 1998. He concluded his studies with a stay at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. After 5 years of applied research and development in the IT sector, Thorsten received his doctoral degree from the University of Oldenburg. In 2005, he became a professor for software engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen. Since then, his primary interest is in software engineering for mobile and web applications, and especially in flexible software architectures for both.







Anna Born

Anna received her international bachelor degree in media computer science from the Bremen University of Applied Science in 2010. During her bachelor study she has gained 3-years experience as web developer and web designer in eskalade Werbeagentur GmbH. Since 2010 she has been studying the international Master of Digital Media at the Bremen University of Applied Science . In 2011 she has started to work in the fields of computer vision and programming at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH) in Bremen. She is interested in computer vision, computer graphics and C++ programming.

Karl Bode

During his bachelor studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, Karl worked as Java developer with front- and backend technologies on enterprise software. After having received his bachelors degrees in 2010, he started working as freelancer and creating mobile applications. Ever since Karl has focused on iOS- and Android-development and in 2011 he founded hot coffee apps, a service company for mobile apps, with Jonas Panten. Karl has started to make first experiences as a public speaker on a iOS-focussed conference and is planning to further advance in this field. In his master studies he is especially interested in mobile technologies, in particular user experience and interaction design.





Gerrit Krudop

Gerrit graduated his bachelor's degree within the digital media program at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen. Afterwards he started a full-time internship at the Alumni Office of the Jacobs University Bremen, where he was responsible for producing and designing media related issues including their international spread Alumni Magazine. In fall of 2010 he then became part of the master’s program in digital media and focused his interests in interaction and interface design.

Merve Orhan

Merve received her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, Istanbul in 2009. After 1,5 years of professional work experience as a Software Development Consultant, she has returned the university for the master studies. Since then, she has been studying Master of Digital Media in HSB and working in Fraunhofer Mevis. Her research interests are computer graphics, mobile&web technologies and user experience design.





Jonas Panten

Jonas started as a software developer in the aviation industry where he also worked during his bachelor studies at the University for Applied Sciences in Bremen. He received his international bachelor degree in Media Computer Science in 2010. During his studies he started to focus on mobile application development and founded hot coffee apps, a service company for mobile apps, together with Karl Bode.

Max Rose

Max received his bachelor degree in media production at the University of Applied Sciences Lemgo. During his bachelor studies he worked as a web developer and web designer for the company Interrogare GmbH in Bielefeld. After he received his bachelor degree he worked as a web developer for the agency Wiethe Interaktiv in Osnabrück. Since 2010 Max is studying the international Master of Digital Media at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen. His research interests are interactive electronic entertainment, user experience design, and computer graphics.





Radu Turcas

Graduated bachelor of Computer Science English taught department at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. After graduating in 2009 started working as a freelancer creating Drupal websites. Since 2011 when enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, the main interestes focused on mobile development, particularly iOS and Android development.
